After a very, very long hiatus, the author, editor and publisher of Plaine Old News, Tamara Abbey, has been shamed and coerced back into production by none other than her own family! "It's pretty bad when your in-laws, husband and his co-workers start sending less than encouraging e-mails," Abbey laughed. "So, I guess it's about time I get my pictures organized and start putting this thing together again." The youngest member of the family (and the main subject of the publication) has been growing and learning at a remarkable pace. |
Family members and friends alike will most likely enjoy and appreciate the resumption of the publication, Abbey noted. Rick White has also urged Abbey to put Plaine Old News back into production, even though he's frequently been mentioned in less-than-flattering articles. "At least she's clever about it," White said. "It's always fun to see how she interprets events!" With encouragement like that, Plaine Old News re-enters publication. Look for lots of fun pictures from all the summer events. There might even be a fun column or two! |
Family Tradition -Cousin Kurt cheerfully volunteered to give Alex White an important lesson in White family traditions this past summer. The clan got together in Wisconsin to celebrate Kurt's marriage to Cami. |
Native Ruins DefacedFollowing a rather quiet summer, vandals are again making
their mark on famous, international landmarks despite an all-out
investigative effort to bring the desecration to a halt. |
Today's WeatherA series of recent storms snarled traffic and brought many commuters to a halt. |
