The Lord's Precious Jewel

And they shall be mine, saith the Lord, of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. Malachi 3:17

In loving memory of our daughter, Lori Bernard Wilson

We miss you so very much. There is such an emptyness   .
inside of us that only you could fill.  I miss hearing your
voice call out "mother, I love you" when you would leave
the house. Even with your own pain and suffering, you    .
had compassion for others. You were always so sensitive
and you seemed to know when someone was in need. I miss
your tender touch, the way you would stroke my brow if I
had a headache. Oh how I long to feel those soft soothing
hands once more, and smell the fragrance of your hair.   I miss your arms around me and your good night kiss most of all. Since I was only blessed with one child, I'm so thankful
God chose me to be your mother. Now that your pain and suffering is over, I know you will sleep in peace. Until we meet again,.and we will, we will always love and remember you. Good night sweet daughter, you are a precious jewel.
A meeting was held quite far from earth. It's time again for another birth, said the Angels to the Lord above, this special child will need much love.
Her progress may be very slow, her accomplishments she may not know. She will require extra care from the folks she'll meet down there.
She may not run, laugh or play, her thoughts may seem quite far away. In many ways she won't adapt and she'll be known as handicapped.
So lets be careful where she's sent, we want her life to be content. Please Lord find the parents who, will do a special job for you.
They will not realize right away the leading role their asked to play. But with this child sent from above, comes stronger faith and richer love.
And soon they'll know the privilege given, in caring for their gift from heaven. Their precious charge so meek and mild, is heaven's very special child.
