Genealogy of Duncan and Margaret Macfarlane, 1792-1892

FIRST GENERATION

1. Duncan1Macfarlane (McFarland). Born, circa 1792. He died, 16 March 1839, in Ballymoney Parish, County Antrim, Ireland and was buried in the Old Ballymoney Graveyard. He married Margaret, circa 1812. She was born circa 1794 in County Antrim and died after 1850.

Children:

2 - i. John2Macfarlane (McFarland). Born, 6 January 1813, and christened the same day, in the Parish Church, Ballymoney, County, Antrim, Ireland.
+3 - ii. George Moore Mitchell Macfarlane (McFarland).
4 - iii. James Mitchell Macfarlane (McFarland). Born 21 December 1817, in Ballymoney, County Antrim, Ireland. He died, 9 October 1856, in Ballymena, where he was a butler. He was buried in the Old Ballymoney Graveyard.
5 - iv. Samuel Macfarlane (McFarland). Born, 5 January 1820, in Ballymoney, County Antrim, Ireland.

SECOND GENERATION

3. George Moore Mitchell2 Macfarlane (McFarland) (Duncan)1). He was born, 16 June 1814, in Ballymoney, County Antrim, ireland. He died after 1850. He married Elizabeth LETSON, 5 November 1833 in the Parish Church, Ballymoney, County Antrim, Ireland. She died after 1850.

Children:

6 - i. Mary Jane Moore3 Macfarlane (McFarland). She was born, circa 1837 and christened in the Parish Church at Ballymoney 24 January 1837. She died after 1850.
7 - ii. William Orr (George?)Macfarlane (McFarland). He was born, circa 1841 and christened in the Parish Church at Ballymoney 14 November 1841. He died after 1850.
8 - iii. Arthur Macfarlane (McFarland). He was born, circa 1843 and christened in the Parish Church at Ballymoney 2 July 1843. He died after 1850.
9 - iv. James Macfarlane (McFarland). He was born circa 1849 in County Antrim. He died after 1850.
10 - v. Elizabeth Macfarlane (McFarland). She was born January 1851 in County Antrim.

NOTE: This family, along with George's mother Margaret, in enumerated in the 1851 census of County Antrim Ireland. They resided in the townland of Craigs where George was a servant.
