This is my family history (or genealogy) page. I have listed some of the names I am researching below, both from my family and my husbands.

The Internet has many, many sites to help the genealogist search for family.
There are sites for census information, state information, mailing lists
for states and surnames, you name it! The next part of my genealogy info
will include links to various sites that I frequent and hope that they will
help you in your research. I have also included some genealogy homepages of

The USGenWeb Project The USGenWeb Project is the best place to begin
your research. You will find information broken down by state and county. It is a marvelous site!!
Genealogy Mailing Lists
User Mailing Lists Hosted By RootsWeb Here you will find mailing
lists pertaining to the states, surnames and countries you may be researching and how to subscribe and unsubscribe
from them. They are a good way to meet others researching the same names you are.

Soundex Conversion Every genealogist on-line should have access to
this soundex converter!
Native American Genealogical Sites On The Web
Broken Threads This is a very interesting site. They
have links to many different tribe information sites. You'll also find genealogical information and research tools.
Cherokee By Blood Very informative site! Post queries, and check
out the information on the census rolls.
Genealogy Pages Maintained By My Friends

Edition of the Social Security Death Index. It is a searchable site where you can find social security information on your relatives.

Genealogy Web Search Tools by Lines and Lineage You will find Common Threads
and I Found It! here. They are 2 very good search tools for your surnames.
The Computerized Ancestor Document Look-up
You can search here by husband, wife, marriage, document.
Genealogy Online Lots of information available at this site such as genealogy
chat, online 1880 census (1% sampling), The National Genealogical Society Home Page link.
Surname Springboard Index This is a searchable
index of surnames. Maybe you'll find yours here!
Obituary Information
Obituary Daily Times Web Site This is current information from
1995 on. You can get obits from almost every state and province in the US and Canada. Some are international, also.
Map Info
USGS Mapping Information You can find the locations of
places where your ancestors lived, etc. This is an online database query form.
Bible Records On-Line
Bible Records Here is a collection of Bible records
on-line. Submittals by users.
