All parts except the adjustable bar are 1 1/4" schedual 40 PVC. The two 3- Ways that connect the bottom bar are 1 1/4" at each end, 3/4" in the middle, and connect to a 2' piece of 3/4" pipe. The holes can be drilled with a drill press or a regular drill. It dosen't matter if they go exactly across or go through at an angle, they'll still work if you can get the bolt through. The bolt clips are either heavy weight plastic or small metal clips. The plastic lasts longer. If these jumps need to regularly dis-assembled for travel, there are several ways to glue. If you want caps (to keep out bugs and water), you can glue caps on (1) and not glue part (1) to part (3). I like to glue part (3) to part (5) because it won't come apart then. Parts (3) and (4) are joined by a 1 1/2" chunck of PVC. If the jumps will be torn down a lot, glue the joiner piece to one side, but not the other. Glue where the X's are.

The nice thing about these jumps is that if a dog hits them, the dog dosent hurt himself: at worst, the jumps move out of position, or a foot falls off. A full set of 4 jumps fits handily into a cheap duffle bag. If you have questions, use your imagination! Or, failing that, and taking into consideration that I am no artist, email me, maybe I can help.

I recieved a set of the plans from Texas. It took me a few minutes to look them over and figure out how to do it. I didn't follow them exactly, but made a set of four jumps in about 30 minutes. I used a measuring tape, hack saw- that's it. I plan on gluing in a couple places. These things are great. I throw a couple in my suitcase when we go wome where and Rodi always has part of her playground with her.

Hey, I made a set of those PVC jumps and there is a picture of my dog using them on the net.
Also, as I was making them, I realized that it wouldn't take much to convert them into usable agility single jumps. Just a longer piece between the leg threeway and the first stationary threeway on the uprights.
