"Hi! I'm Tubby, Tom & Shirley's Cocker Spaniel"

Hello! My name is Tubby Myers. The picture above is of me! I also have a couple of human parents who love me and have taken good care of me since I was 6 months old! Here is a picture of them, their names are Tom & Shirley, but I call them Mom & Dad. They call me a "Pupple" sometimes! Yes I did say pupple. You see they think I'm 1/2 people & 1/2 puppy = pupple. You know, I think their right too! I have to admit, I am kind of smart!

Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born April 15,1987, (Income Tax Deadline Day). It was only two of us. I was born first, I'm the one in the middle, then my sister who they named "Misty" was next. Oh yeah!, that's my Mommie next to me. Her name is Kristy.I would fit in two hands while Misty would fit in one hand. That's how I got the name "Tubby"! Here is a picture of me & Mommie. That's my Mom on the right! My Mommie, whose name is Kristy, died in March of this year(1998). I really miss her too! Here's me and sis. NOBODY!, and I mean NOBODY! messes with my sis! Cute little fellow, ain't I! I am now 11 years old. I didn't have an easy life though! What these humans put me through you just can't believe!

When I turned one they gave me a birthday party, with gifts, treats, and this stupid birthday hat! How humiliating! Oh well!, bring on the food! One thing I really like is Christmas time! I love to get presentsfrom Santa Pup! I just love to rip them open! Keep bringing those presents to open up.When I do open them up, I usually make a mess! One year I also went Trick or Treating! Guess they think I'm "Superpup" or something. Let me tell you folks, this is as far as I go!!!! Talk about feeling weird! Sheeeesh!

I used to go and get the paper for them, but I can't do that anymore! On July 22,1996, I had a very serious operation on my back. I hurt a disk in my spine. My back legs were paralyzed. I thought my Mom & Dad would put me to sleep because of the cost of the operation. But they sure love me alot! They had me get the operation. I was still paralyzed when they picked me up two days later, and they had to give me alot of their attention. They even slept on the floor with me for two weeks. I was put in a small crate, but I was never penned up before and I HATED it! So they had to keep me out of the crate because I did more damage to myself in it. Within 10 days Dad noticed that I was putting some of my weight on my back legs. One night while we were watching TV, I stood up for a second! My Mom yelled and it scared me and I plopped back down. They don't let me do steps anymore and Dad even built me a ramp to get from the kitchen floor to the garage floor. I can walk and run again, but not like before the operation! I'm so glad these two people love me so much! I guess you can say I have two birthdays now! April 15th, and July 22nd! Glad I'm still here these two years, or else I wouldn't have had a chance to make this webpage up for you to look at.

Now days my Mom & Dad bought a camper! It's a 23' Wilderness Trailer. I'll soon show you some pictures of our travels together.

I guess you can tell who's the Boss in this family!

Thank you all for looking at my personal "Puppy Webpage"!

Oh Lord!......What a day this is!!!!! It's Sunday, Jan.2,2000. At 7:10 A.M. Shirley and I had to put our most precious friend to sleep! He was the most loving, and faithful furry companion there could ever be!!! When I get the nerve and fortitude, I will add a memorial to him here on this page! My goal will be to finish this memorial of TUBBY and list it on the Web for the whole world to see. He meant the world to us and I would like to show the world just how precious life is. Even if he's not human...but a puple is the next best thing to being a human!
