IRC MAGIC: Alumni Website

Welcome To Your Alumni Home!

Aside from giving IRC Magic alumni a place to keep in contact with other alumni, this site's main purpose is to provide a continuing resource for information on IRC and mIRC.  Unlike the IRC Magic course at Virtual University, these resources won't be given to you, here you have to contribute them yourselves!

In the spirit of helpfulness that has made this course so enjoyable, we ask that you spend a little of your spare time and search the web for sites that you think would be of interest to your fellow alumni.  When you find these sites, please submit them to this site with a brief note telling about the site. Submissions may be made by using the form at the bottom of the Resource Page (the link is at the bottom of this page) or e-mail them to mcwangel@oocities.com

A Rose By Any Other Name....

The times are a'changin...  and so is the name of the IRC network that we base all of our channels on!

What started out as the Webmaster network is now known as:

Link to WebNet

Please remember this when mentioning the network of IRC servers we use, especially to newbies.  If you say "Webmaster", they may wonder what you are talking about!

DE made the WebNet graphic above a link to their site, where you can find quite a bit of information, including a list of connected servers (in Austria and Hong Kong, too) and a FAQ detailing information about those wonderful "network services" that we all dearly love

Please visit our resource page
