In order to accomplish either goal,
I suppose I should start of by telling you a little
about myself and my family...

I was born on January 14, 1968 in Dallas, Texas.
My birth name is Alice Dee Braune.
I grew up in Killeen, Texas
(approximately one hour drive north of Austin).
The schools that I attended were:
Belaire Elementary, Nolan Middle, both Ellison and Killeen High.
I also went through Commissioned Security Guard classes as
well as Criminal Justice courses at Central Texas College in 1985.

My daughter, Larissa, was born in Killeen, Texas
on December 13, 1987.
My oldest son, Chris was born at Ft.Hood, Texas
on May 28, 1989.

In November 1989 we moved to the Cedar Creek Lake area
(approximately 70 miles S.E. of Dallas, Texas).
While living around the lake area we lived in
Mabank, Gun Barrel City and Tool.
My youngest child, Preston, was born in Athens, Texas
on July 31, 1991.
I was a member of the Tool Volunteer Fire Dept.
from January - June 1996.

In June 1996 we loaded up with my parents for our
long drive (move) to Alaska.
We arrived in Anchorage, Alaska on July 4, 1996.
Anchorage is where we now make our home....
my parents stayed for a little over a year then decided
they didn't like it here and moved back to Texas...
(what wimps!! *smile*)

While living in Alaska,
I was the residential manager for a 50 unit apartment complex.
I was (am still) in the process of learning all that I can
concerning designing web sites.

In Sept. 1998, I started a chat channel on mIRC called #30+SinglesCafe .
I have really enjoyed the time that I have spent on mIRC
and all the people that I have become friends with.
Although I wasn't "looking" for any type of relationship,
in Oct. 1998, Adam (aka. _StiX_) and I became friends.
Feb. 28, 1999 Adam & I were Cyber Wed
through a place on the internet called "I Thee Web"
This isn't legal, just something that we wanted to do.

April 15, 1999, the kids and I moved back to Texas,
to the Mabank - Gun Barrel City area.
April 18, Adam & I did get to meet for the first time in real life (IRL),
when he drove to Texas from Ontario.

These were put on in April 1998.
I will be adding more as we get them taken and developed.

Some of My Interest Include:

Dancing, walking, long drives, spending time with my children
(sometimes even playing at Discovery Zone), reading,
working with my plants and flowers, board/card games,
comedies, getting together with friends, cook-outs,
meeting new people, sunsets, quiet evenings at home,
and working on the computer... especially home pages.

For Those of you that may be interested,
we are planning to add a section detailing our trip up here with
pictures and points of interest. We had a pretty good trip
and would like to share it with you.
