HALL OF FAME


PART III

The Hall of Fame Committee was organized in 1955, and was apparently in existance to at least 1966. According to a list in a file maintained by Chalmer Frazier,130 individuals were inducted into the Hall of Fame, newspaper clippings in his file indicate that there were additional members. The following is a listing of Hall of Fame members, this list was compiled from the listing in Chalmer Frazier's file, news clippings in the same file, and the group of photographs obtained by the Floyd County Historical & Genealogical Society. Members of the Hall of Fame that we have pictures are indicated by a blue link to the picture. Some information about these members are included in the previous parts. In some cases information about the individual has been added. Additional information on all of the honorees, and the names of any omitted would be appreciated.
