HAPPY ST. PADDY'S DAY!!!!!(one day late) I'm 18 months old today & getting bigger all the time. We didn't have time to weigh & measure me this month, but take Momma's word for it...I have grown. Momma is so proud of me, so is everyone else that knows & loves me. I'm really catching up on some things that I was lacking on!!
I have eleven teeth now!! I know how to bite & chew, but I'm still not fond of thick or chunky foods. My teacher, Miss Heather, is trying to get a speech therapist to come visit me. Not just for the feeding problem, but also for my speech, as I'm really "talking" up a storm now. I love Miss Heather, she makes learning fun!
I'm crawling really well now. I can go anywhere I want to. Even some places the I shouldn't be going. I've also learned how to climb up the two steps from the den to the kitchen...now we have to work on getting back down "safely".
I'm pulling to standing all by myself. I'm even "cruising" in my crib & playpen & some on the furniture. I'll be walking before long, that's what Momma says. When I pull up on the furniture, such as the couch or chair, I try really hard to climb up, but have not mastered that just yet. I pull my leg up, but just can't get it high enough. I've been letting go some & standing for 10-15 seconds on my own. Miss Heather is really proud of my progress.
Momma judged a pageant on the 13th of this month. Next month I will be in an Easter Pageant on April 3rd...Wish me luck! Momma's hoping she will be able to have her pageant for the Down Syndrome Association Of Middle Tennessee on the 17th of April, but got a letter from the State. Seems she needs to have some licenses & registrations that she wasn't aware of. Pray for Momma that she can do the pageant, she has worked really hard on it & it's for a very good cause.
We have some new pets. Momma saved a kitty from certain death. Her name is Stoni. Daddy bought me a parakeet. His name is Beauregard, but we call him Beau for short. He sings alot. I also cyberly adopted a wolve puppy from my Aunt Chris. He's my puppy, but Daddy won't let me have him here so Aunt Chris is keeping him for me. His name is Jack's Moontear of Spirit Bear, but we just call him Moontear or Moon. He's sooo cute!! Maybe I can see him someday & actually pet him...real easy. Momma & Daddy are trying to teach me to be easy with our pets.
The pictures above are of Bubba helping me ride my handmade, one-of-a-kind rocking Harley from my Aunt Susie & Uncle Steve. Bubba likes my Harley, too. The next one is of me & Grandpa, I just met him last month. Of course, the next is me & Grandma. As you can tell, I didn't like my very first haircut. Last, but not least, is a picture of my Uncle Ron & my brother, Richard. I miss you bunches Bubba & love you even more!!!
