Admitted 3/8/1862, returned to duty 4/9/1862. Detailed as Wagoner with Engineer Corps at Drewery's Bluff, VA in July/August 1863. Received extra pay as Teamster for service with Engineer Department of Northern Virginia around Richmond from 4/18 to October 1862. Pay was $11.00 per month. Paid $64.00 on 3/9/1864. Captured at Spotsylvania Court House, Va on 5/6/1864. Arrived at Belle Plain, VA on 5/18/1864. Listed a prisoner of war at Point Lookout, MD. The company served at Cumberland Gap, TN and campaign into Kentucky and Ohio with General Kirby Smith 3/16/1862 to 12/29/1862. The company served in Vicksburg Campaign: Chickasaw Bluffs on 1/3/1863, Port Gibson on 5/1/1863, Baker's Creek on 5/16/1863, and the siege of Vicksburg, 5/17/1863-7/4/1863. As part of Lee's Brigade, Stevenson's Division they were paroled after General PembertonsÕ surrender on 7/4/1863.

The company served in battles at Lookout Mountain and Missionary Ridge, TN 11/24-25/1863, North Georgia, 5/1/1863 to 7/2/1864 at Dalton, Resaca, New Hope Church, Kolbs Farm, and Kennesaw Mountain.

On 7 days leave 7/2/1864. Reported sick near Atlanta, GA 8/20/1864. The company served in battles for Atlanta through 8/30/1864 and at Jonesboro, GA on 8/31/1864. Wounded near Lovejoy's Station, GA 8/31/1864.

The company served in General Hood's Campaign with battles at Columbia, TN on November 26, 1864 and Nashville,TN on December 15, 1864. It served in rear guard action as part of Pettus's Brigade in the retreat of the Army of Tennessee from Nashville across the Duck River on December 17, 1864.

The company served again with General Joseph E. Johnston in Pettus's Brigade in battles at Kinston, NC on March 8, 1865 and at Bentonville, SC on March 19, 1865. Entered General Hospital at Greensboro, NC 3/20/1865.

Returned to duty. Extra duty as Nurse in hospital at 25 cents per day, 12/31/1862 to 2/12/1863 (43 days pay: $10.75). Captured and taken prisoner at Gettysburg, PA 7/2/1863. Disposition unknown.
