The story continues about this Family who only seems interested in carrying the Gospel of Christ through Song and the Preached Word.
Beginning in the 60's in North Georgia, this group has spread the gospel for the sole purpose of leading the lost to Jesus and telling the world about his Love.
The group is made up of six members, Ernest, the Dad and spokesperson, married to Hildred the Mom and Manager of the group. They have been married for forty-two years and have two daughters.
Tammy is know as the P.R. (Public Relations ) person in the group. She loves talking to the people and getting to know them, and making them laugh. She has been singing since the age of Four, and has seen many souls saved and lives touched through her childhood years. She is married and has two children. Her husband Mark is also with the group as the sound technician.
Then there's Crystal, who is known as the silent-one because there's no way to get a word in edge wise between Ernest and Tammy. She has been singing since the age of Five, and even though she doesn't say much, she expresses herself through her music. She has a very speical talent and when you hear her sing, you will be able to feel the love of God. She is married to Lynn, who is also a sound technician with the group.This makes up the Singing Crisps.
During these years they have kept the tradition of Family alive for more that Thirty years. They know from experience that "Music soothes the Soul" but without words their ministry would have no meaning. Because it is throught the word that people are convicted and their lives changed. If you have never been in service with The Singing Crisps, and you hear of them in your area, go out and worship with them. I can assure you that this family is like Coca=Cola..........."THE REAL THING"
