Why?
Have you ever asked why things happen to children?
Why do they go through all this suffering, doesn't God care?
First of all, God is not some unfeeling being in space, watching us run around like ants. He loves us. He listens to the prayers of a child. He is never too busy.
So why are children hurt? I like the way Joyce Meyer explains it. Children are a gift from God. He gives TOTAL responsibility of the raising of the child to the parents. It is up to the father and mother to 'Train a child in the way he should go' Prov.22:6
So, does that mean we as parents are
doomed, for not always getting it right?
Far from it!! Being a mother myself,
i do not qualify for parental perfection.
I do qualify for the undying love, grace
and mercy that the Father has for me, as i repent of my sins, study His word
and seek His guidance everyday.
God has given the human race freedom
of choice. He wants us to come to Him
of our own free will. The way the world
is today is the result of man's choices.
There is also another factor to consider
here. There is someone that hates us,
wants us to suffer and die. he wants to
steal our children, to hit us where we
live, for the most damage possible. his
name is satan.
he roams the earth to steal, kill and
destroy.Don't forget that God is a
parent too. He sent His Son to save
us, and His Son was killed. God knows
how it feels to lose a child through
pain and violence.
So, do we have to sit helplessly by, and
watch the devil destroy everything we
love?
NEVER. '.....the One who is in you is
greater than the one who is in the
world' 1 John 4:4.
'The weapons we fight with are
not the weapons of the world.
On the contrary, they have
divine power to demolish
strongholds.' 2Cor. 10:4
'....whatever you ask for
in prayer, believe that you
have recieved it, and it
will be yours.' Mark 11:24
How can i get this to work for me and
my family? It begins with knowing
Jesus as your personal Savior.
