Raggedy's
Wagon
I
have a little wagon,
it's
really such a prize,
I
take it everywhere with me,
it's
really just my size.
My
wagon was usually empty but,
oh,
not anymore
Since
yesterday when all the Raggedy's
knocked
at my front door.
I
couldn't believe my eyes
as
the four of them stood there,
Raggedy
Ann and Andy,
Garden
Cleo and Button Bear.
They
really don't
want
much, they say,
Just
helping in the garden
feeding
pets, and play.
Cleo
said he'd work real hard
While
his hair is just a draggin,
The
only reward that he would like
is
ridin in the wagon.
Now
Raggedy's Ann and Andy,
so
happy to find a home,
Only
want to serve tea
and
never be alone.
Well,
Button Bears so little,
doesn't
know what to say,
He's
really just a baby
but
does know how to pray.
So
every night,at dinner,
he
teaches us to pray.
And
while we do our daytime chores
he
learns more words to say.
I
still love my wagon,
take
it everywhere with me
But
now I take my friends along
for
everyone to see.
If
you see my wagon,
by
the fireplace, you'll see
My
four Happy Raggedy's
in
their favorite place to be!
