God knew that there would be some times we'd need a helping handSomeone to share our pain with and they would understand
He knew we'd have some rough times when we'd seem to lose our way
We'd need someone to help us out and tell us.....it's ok
Of course there'd be some good times too, with victories to relate
We'd want someone to tell them to and have them say......that's great
He knew whatever came our way, the joys and sorrows too
We'd need some one to laugh or cry with so He made dear friends like you.

A friend is Gods' special way of saying....."I love you". He gives them to us when we least expect them. But usually at a time when we most need them! Sometimes, we don't know how or why we met our friend but, God had a very special reason in mind! All we know is that we are very glad He did!
