The version of Chamber presented in the Age of Apocalypse is baisically the same leather clad British mutant, with a few VERY important differences.

• His powers were discovered (presumably by his father) early enough for him to be fitted with a device that channels his Psi-energy out through a hole in his chest.
• Consequently, he still has all of his face.
• This seems to have inspired greater self confidence, and he is much more outgoing, the official team leader, and gets along much better with Husk.

> However, he still dresses in his distinctive black leather array, speaks the way Marvel thinks Brits ought to, and is by far the most compelling character in the book.
