Welcome to Project: Wade and Quinn, the place devoted to the original couple of Sliders. Even though on the show we haven't really seen them officially become a couple, Quinn and Wade have gotten married, had children, broke up and gotten back together again a dozen times in the world of fan-written fiction, generally known as fanfic.
If you aren't a member of P:WQ, you're probably
wondering, "Just what is Project: Wade and Quinn anyway?" The
answer is relatively simple; since Sliders' Pilot episode, a portion
of its fanbase has always longed for Quinn and Wade's relationship to
blossom. We were given little bits here or there, but generally their
relationship didn't get off the ground very much, even after Wade admitted
she loved him (quote, above) in In Dino Veritas. Some of those fans
were also fanfic writers and wrote the relationship into their
Sliders stories, sometimes even concentrating the entire story on
it. P:WQ's mission is that there can be a place (ie. a mailing list) where
relationshipper fanfics (shipperfics for short) can be posted, read, and
discussed without bugging people who don't feel the same way.
