Happy Days in Hollywood: Dorothy
Lee, The Soubrette Of Radio Pictures.
Dorothy Lee is one of the bright young people
of motion pictures, though unlike a number of other folk answering to the
same description....and out of Hollywood, she is not altogether lacking
in common sense. This manifested itself a little time ago when Radio
offered to star her in a film of her own, which alluring invitation Dorothy
firmly but politely declined, on the grounds that she would rather give
more time to learning her business before taking so much on her young shoulders.
She has so far mostly been seen with the Radio comedians, Wheeler and Woolsey,
who were in the laughter makers of "Rio Rita," "Dixiana," "Half Shot
at Sunrise."
Her next two appearances will be in "Laugh
and Get Rich" and "Too Many Cooks."
