Felicia Jones has been a bartender, a private eye, an Aztec princess, a wife and a mother. Her whole life has been one sink-or-swim situation after another. The good news: She hasn't drowned yet.

When Felicia arrived in Port Charles, all she wanted was to retrieve an Aztec heirloom, a valuable ring that rock singer Frisco Jones had picked up at an art fair. Disguised as a boy, she tried to steal it from him but was caught in the act. It was love at first sight. He immediately stopped seeing girlfriend Tania Roskov and became Felicia's constant companion.

In 1986, Felicia married Frisco, who had become a police officer. He soon traded in his badge for a job as a secret agent with the World Security Bureau - a move that would have dire repercussions. After Frisco was said to have been killed while on a mission, Felicia sought comfort in the arms of Lucy Coe's cousin, straight-arrow ex-marine Colton Shore.

When Frisco returned to Port Charles alive and well in 1990, Felicia left Colton and remarried her true love. Their first child, Maxie, was born the following year.

While staying at Felicia's family's hacienda in Texas, the danger that Frisco constantly was in wore away at Felicia, and finally, unable to take the worry, she left her husband. After their divorce, she became involved with Dr. Ryan Chamberlain, an unstable psychiatrist. When Felicia saw her beau murder his wife, Gloria, she developed amnesia but still managed to make her way back to Port Charles.

Felicia was followed by Ryan, who had her committed. Were it not for the help of her buddy, Mac Scorpio, she might never have escaped from the asylum. While on the run from Ryan, Felicia's feelings for Mac turned into more than friendship, and, upon Ryan's incarceration, they made plans to wed.

Everything would have gone according to plan, too, were it not for Ryan, who escaped from prison just in time to disrupt the ceremony with a bomb. Before Felicia and Mac could schedule another trip down the aisle, Maxie was hospitalized with Kawasaki syndrome. At Felicia's request, Mac contacted Frisco and brought him home to his dying daughter. Seeing Felicia with Frisco told Mac all he needed to know; he wasn't the man for her, Frisco was. When Maxie pulled through, Felicia and Frisco were so overcome that they made love. By the time Frisco returned to Somalia, Felicia was pregnant with their second daughter, Georgie, to whom she gave birth on the floor of Luke's Club in 1995.

In 1996, Felicia and Dr. Tom Hardy became an item - and the talk of the hospital. He was the main suspect in her stalking. Even she doubted his innocence. But the culprit turned out to be Dr. Kevin Collins, Ryan's twin brother. Felicia and Tom reunited, but her mistrust of him had seriously damaged their relationship. After reestablishing their trust in one another, Tom left Felicia for a return trip to Africa. Recently, Tom sent Felicia a "Dear Jane" letter.

Felicia resides with Maxie and Georgie at The Brownstone at 1242 Elm St. in Port Charles, New York.
