Welcome to my Jackie Gleason site! Jackie Gleason was one of the greatest comedic actors who ever lived. He also excelled in dramatic and musical parts. Gleason is best remembered for his role as Brooklyn working man Ralph Kramden on the classic television show, The Honeymooners, which surprisingly ran only for one season. For many years, though, throughout the fifties and sixties, he had his own variety show, The Jackie Gleason Show, which often contained Honeymooners sketches. He also appeared in many movies (which are listed below); his most popular being The Hustler, Gigot, Smokey and the Bandit, and Requiem for a Heavyweight. |
