News From the Hollywood Premiere of "The
Game"
A legendary strip of Hollywood Boulevard
buzzed Monday night as swarms of movers, shakers, stars, and fans converged for The Game's
unforgettable premiere party. Mann's Chinese Theatre played host to an impressive array of
industry names, from Tia Carrere to Francis Ford Coppola, Kiss's Gene Simmons to Kingpin's
Vanessa Angel; the stars graced the red carpet and greeted the press, their fans, and
their Hollywood friends. Mediadome was there to capture a bit of the night's magic.
Director David Fincher, producer Steve Golin, principals Michael Douglas, Sean Penn,
Deborah Kara Unger, and Carroll Baker arrived to adoring cheers from the bleachers full of
fans across the street; as they emerged from their limos they met, embraced, and chatted
with their fans and colleagues within the industry. Politically Incorrect's Bill Maher,
NYPD Blue's Sharon Lawrence and ER's Anthony Edwards were among the stars who arrived in
style, both to support their friends in The Game and to attend the after-party across the
street.
