Here are some tips which could be very helpful in coping with depressions: 1. Learn to say good-bye to loved ones you have lost. 2. Try to find a person who is willing to listen in a mutual atmosphere of trust. Depressed people do not need to hear what someone else sees as the solution, but they do need a person who is willing to listen so that they themselves can find a solution to their problem. Never talk to a person if he cannot, or will not listen. That will make you more depressed. 3. If you're depressed, tell it to your family. Suspend all family confrontations. Don't be ashamed of your feelings. Tell your family that you need warmth, kindness and concern. 4. Tell yourself that depression is a normal part of life, and that something good could come from it. Depressions are a good time to think things over and to concentrate on the most neglected person in your life: YOU. 5. Use a self reward system. If you feel depressed, treat yourself. Buy new shoes or go to a nice restaurant if that is what you like to do. Buy yourself new clothes, or go to a beauty shop. Do something for yourself, you have been so busy doing things for others. 6. Be a helper. Concentrate on helping someone whose condition is even worse than yours, (keeping perspective). You will discover very quickly that other people are sometimes in more complicated and difficult situations than you are in. 7. Take a vacation. Whether it be in your mind or an actual physical vacation... time away can be benificial. 8. Music. Music can be a great influence in a person's life. Lively music will talk to the innermost heart, will be helpful to express feelings and have new hope in beauty. 9. Express Anger. Depressions are often caused by unexpressed anger. If you have something against someone, say it, but in a manner so as to not cause harm to anyone. 10. Engage in physical exercise and eat right. Sports may help you feel better. Perspiration and fatigue from physical exercise are beneficial. Good nutritional meals will give you the right and necessary vitamins. NOTE: This
