Background

This website was originally called Israeli Regions. You may have come across some links to that original site.

The name and the site were changed for various reasons:

  • The newer groups that were added needed a more appropriate name
    • In the past the group related only to certain regions in Israel
    • The newer groups do not necessarily relate to specific regions
  • Those familiar with the English language are likely to be familiar with the word "regions." However, Israelis needed a more familiar term
  • Our other series of forums is called Jewish Groups. Israeli Groups more closely matches the name of the parent group

Do not use that older website. It is outdated, and will not be updated. It has been replaced by this website, Israeli Groups
