I’m 22. I’m not bilingual. I was raised in a Hebrew speaking environment. I mean, I learned English only in high school. I wish I was a bilingual. I think it makes life a lot easier, especially when you’re a student and you have to do the Bagrut [matriculation examination] in English, and through the rest of your life, it’s helpful.

I would have been a bilingual if my parents were English speakers, I think. I think you're a bilingual when you’re born to an environment in which you hear and use English when you are young.

In high school we didn’t have to speak. We had to read and write in school.

To raise a bilingual child, a person should marry someone who speaks English. Each parent will speak a certain language, not to confuse the child.
