Anthony K. Lee

Anthony K. Lee is 28 years old and currently lives in Foster City, California. He recently received his Master's degree in Piano Performance at the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston. He also holds an Honors BA in Music (Piano Performance.) from Santa Clara University as well as being the recipient of the Arrigo and Catherine Descalzi Prize, Performers Certificate for Distinguished Musical Performance, and two time winner of the Concerto/Aria Competition.

He has studied most recently with Hans Boepple in California and Nancy Weems in Houston.

Recent Music Accomplishments:

  • 2003: Performed as the soloist on tour in Japan with the SJYS Orchestra.
  • 2002-2003: Worked as rehearsal pianist with the UH Opera Program.
  • 2000-2001: Received The Barkley Fellowship/ Performing Arts Grant (this is organized by the Philanthropic Ventures Foundation and helps people within the arts)
  • 2000-2001: Served as an Adjunct-Faculty Member teaching piano at Santa Clara University
  • 2000 7/1: First Place for California: Music Teachers' Association of California Division 4 Concerto Competition
  • 1999 7/1: First Place for California: Music Teachers' Association of California Division 4 Solo Competition
