This classic automobile belongs to Dennis Muldoon
of Spring Hill, FL
He is currently a member of The Spring Hill
Muscle Car Club.
This is the first picture I ever received of
this beauty.
Dennis has worked very hard , and it has taken
him a long time to achieve what he has with this beauty, His niece and
nephew,(Sammy and Danny) call it Flammer since it can shoot flames out
of the tail pipes. Well, take a look at the pictures. Enjoy them!
1973 FORMULA FIREBIRD
This car comes with the original motor, transmission,
and rear-end.
The engine is a big block 350c.i. bored out
to .030 over with a mild street cam. The intake manifold has been changed
out for an Edelbrock Performer and Performer carburetor. The ignition system
was originally a points system. This has been modified as well. Now it
contains a Unilite infra-red breaker-less system by Mallory. There is also
a MSD blaster coil and 6A ignition box. The exhaust headers are Cyclone
Cerma-coated.
The transmission is a Turbo-hydramatic 350
with a B&M Transpack shift kit for street performance.
The rear-end is the same O.E.M. Safe-T-track
3.08 Posi that came with the car.
A custom interior with red neon lighting and
red LED Cyberdyne gauges finish off the passenger compartment.
A new flamed paint job and T- top roof were
provided by Hot Wheels Paint and Body. This makes her a one of kind as
T' tops were not an option until 1976.
Under the hood is bright and shiny thanks to
a lot of custom chrome detailing by American Car Craft. Where window etching
was also added.
American Racing Wheels ( Torque thrust - D
) with BF/Goodrich Radial T/A 15" 245 60's on the front and15" 295 50's
on the rear provide a nice big foot print and a serious ground pounding
look.
This is a wonderful picture of the engine!
