King Alfred Running Day - Winchester January 1st 1999
We bring photos of some of the latest participants
in this years FKOAB Running Day
which as usual was held in Winchester on January 1st. This year the day was fine and
somewhat warmer than in recent years !
This Leyland PD2 was returned from the USA and is undergoing full
restoration.
Although not fully finished it performed faultlessly during the day and is seen
here on route 18 during the morning of New Year's Day.
An excellent photo stop was made during the 1330 tour on this Bedford OB
allowing this
lovely shot in one of the local villages.
Finally the 1931 Dennis performed well all day operating a near 30

round the town routes.
