Apologies for the lack of updates but Malcolm has been away in Africa. Never far however from Stagecoach since of course they run Stagecoach Kenya Bus and Malcolm was in Nairobi.
Sunday last saw one of the biggest rallies, with Duxford hosting the usual wide variety of visitors from far and away. We took the opportunity to record some visitors from our area and bring you below an interesting selection.
Stagecoach Oxford advise that at the time of writing at least four of the new MAN saloons are en route from the Alexander factory in Falkirk. They should be here later today or early tomorrow. Details will be put on the page as soon as they are to hand. No other changes have occurred during the past week and no further ex London Darts have as yet been received. The Oxford Brookes University contract is now under way and loadings have been exceptional in the first days according to Alex Carter, Managing Director of Stagecoach Oxford. The reserve decker, 551, SCN251S, has arrived and is painted in corporate livery. We hope to have pictures this weekend.
For the record the new saloons en route and in build are :

A further Mercedes Vario 0-814 has been received numbered 372. Only 382 and 383 are now outstanding.
