On the Wired Keyboards that don't have the CMD key use these keys ctrl + alt=Cmd With the newer Windows compatible keyboards use the Windows flag key = Cmd
General Commands Cmd + C Copys the Text
Cmd + X Cuts the Text in Active typing fields
Cmd + V Pastes the text into your E-Mail or Homepage text editing fields. |
This will make Cut and Paste easy to do. To the right is a simple list. Let's say you wanted to send those Five golden rings to someone.
On your keyboard hit your FIND button. In the window type 5 then hit find on page The 5 will now be highlighted. Ready for some fun ? Hold down your Shift key at the same time tap your Right arrow key until_ 5 ) Five Golden Rings _is completely highlighted. |

Now that your item is highlighted hold down your CMD key and tap your_C_key ONCE. That tell's the computer what to COPY. While holding your CMD button down tap your_X_key ONCE and ONLY once. That tell's the Computer what to CUT. It will stay copyed in your browser until you put something else in or shut down. Now we're going to use some paste so be careful !! You don't want to make a mess....LOL. Go to your mail page so you can send a message. Put your curser in the BODY of your E-Mail hit your CMD and tap your_V_key ONCE and only once and POW the Ring's are pasted on the page. Sometimes everything will seem to freeze but don't worry about that....That's normal. Now was that easy or what ?? |
Now lets say you wanted to send the whole list to someone. Well let's do this.
Again hit your Find key type in_1_in the window. Just hold down the Shift key and tap your Hold down your CMD button tap the_C_key once and tap the_X_key once. Now the whole list is stored in the browser. Now just go to your E-Mail page to send a message. Put the curser in the BODY of the E-mail page hit your CMD and your_V_key once and again....POW the whole list is pasted on the message page. I know what you're thinking. " That's neat and easy but I want to send the last item on the list and they both start with the # 1. If I follow what you said I'll highlight the FIRST item. What do I do ? " Well let's do this. If you have two items or paragraphs that start the same just type more of the item into the Find window. In this case you would type_10_into the Find window and the last item would be highlighted |
