I really like to watch Indy Car Racing, especially the Indy500. In fact, I like it so much that I've been going to the Indy500 every year for the past five years, even after the split between IRL and CART in 1996 (That was a major bummer!)...

My favorite Indy500 drivers are Arie Luyendyk, Andre Ribeiro, Scott Goodyear, Emerson Fittipaldi, and Scott Brayton (His tragic death after getting the pole in '96 was a big loss for racing, and he is greatly missed...). And, my least favorite driver is -- Jimmy Vasser! During the '96 U.S.500, he crashed into everybody else's cars right after the race started, and then went ahead and won the race! Jeez!!! At least he's got a strategy...

During practice for the '95 Indy500, I visited Gasoline Alley at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and had pictures taken with some of the drivers. That was great!!! I really enjoyed that experience! Here are some of the pictures taken that day and on Race Day...

in 1978, 1986 (a yellow one!!;-) ), 1995 and 1998!
