Chocolate Fondue ... Great for girls night!!! 24 oz. milk chocolate pieces or semisweet chocolate pieces
2 C. (1 pt.) light corn syrup
1 T. vanilla extract
1/2 C. Coca-Cola
Assorted Dippers (marshmallows, strawberries, apple slices, pineapple,
cake cubes, pretzels, etc.)
Combine chocolate pieces and corn syrup in a heavy saucepan. Heat and
stir until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth. Add vanilla extract and
Coke; stir until well blended. Turn into a fondue pot and keep hot.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Dip ... From:
Sesame Street Magazine's Parents Guide, Sept. 1991 issue. This one is so
easy to make! Your kids will be able to fix and dip into it within 5 minutes
of coming home. Use an assortment of dippers ... fruit, cookies, pretzels. 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/3 C. Creamy peanut butter
1 dash Ground cinnamon
1/4 C. Chocolate syrup
2 T. Milk
Assorted cut-up fruit
Assorted cookies
Pretzels
In large bowl with electric mixer on medium, beat cream cheese, peanut
butter, and cinnamon until smooth.
Gradually beat in chocolate syrup and milk until well blended. Serve
with fruit, cookies, or pretzels. Prep time: 5 minutes.
Ragin Dip ... Our alteration to my mother-in-law's
recipe 2 lb.. ground beef
1 jar HOT salsa
1 can fat free refried beans
1 packet HOT taco seasonings mix
1 pkg. shredded taco cheese
Brown the ground beef and drain. Add salsa, taco mix and refried beans.
Heat thoroughly. Place half the mixture in a casserole and put half the
cheese on it. Put the other half of the beef mixture in and the rest of
cheese. Bake at 350* until the cheese melts. This is great served with
Tostitos!!!
