Cilantro

It's been said you either love cilantro or hate it. In fact for some people, it's an acquired  taste. And it may be worthwhile training your taste buds as Mexican research shows that cilantro, a.k.a. the leaves of the coriander plant, contain compounds that protect against cell mutations, which is one of the first steps in cancer development. Using it chopped in salsas is one way to learn to love the herb. And once you do, forget recipes that call for a little. Instead, use it with abandon.
