The Norwegian Astronomical Society ( NAS ) was founded 1938 in Oslo. The society's activity lasted unfortunately only for 10 years.
The activity was restarted 1968 in Oslo with a formal opening and a new magazine "Astronomisk Tidsskrift" for the members.
