Being Consistent

Why can’t we be consistent?

A day should be a day, right? It should either start at night or in the morning, at a fixed time. A holiday should be a holiday, so that everybody knows when the groups are closed. How can subscribers be expected to keep track of these differences?

Good point. These are indeed complicated issues. If necessary, they may be discussed on Jewish Beginnings or on The Other Shul. However, for the time being, please accept the fact that Judaism is very exciting and keeps us on our toes.

This issue does arise all the time on Jewish Events, our group that describes Jewish holidays. We constantly have to define what we mean by any upcoming event.
