I am employed with Texas Department of Crimnal Justice at the prison located in the city that I live. (Prison Name Withheld For Obvious Security Reasons) My position is Secretary II for Project Rio, which works in conjunction with the Education Department. It's a great job and I have such great co-workers there! They make the depressing environment that is associated with working at a prison less so :)
I am married to the love of my life and we will have been married four years as of January 2, 2001! Yes!! Believe it or not, Wayne and I met on the Internet in our favorite chat room, Sundowner's Lounge at Sail Away Cafe - Hit The Beach! To read about how we met click on~~Our Internet Love Story~~.

While not at work I enjoy surfing the internet and chatting with our internet friends along with piddling around on my webpages. I am a member of Preceptor Lambda Alpha Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi having been a member of Beta Sigma Phi International since 1978. I am a collector of sorts. My biggest collection is a gorgeous (almost complete) set of yellow "Princess" Depression Dishes. I collect Ty Beanie Babies. I currently have around 217 beanies and am still going strong. I also collect "angel" figurines and am collecting different styles and shapes of (all things) gravy boats...LOL!
A real passion for Wayne and I is cruising the local flea markets and garage sales. We love looking at stuff or rather "junk" to add to our collections....LOL! It is so true that one person's junk is another's treasure! I also enjoy bidding and selling things on Ebay. In fact, we love on line auctions so much that Wayne is doing very well with his and Horse and Tack business on Ebay.
