Want to learn more about the characters and voices behind the people (or things) in Bartok the Magnificent? We've compiled a short entry about each one. This is by no means a complete filmography for each of these actors -- we actually just took our favorite movies/tv show with them in it or their most notoble. Enjoy!

The lead character of Bartok is reprised by Hank Azaria, the actor who played him in the original version of Anastasia. Hank lets us hear him sing this time though, crooning two of the five songs, including the title song "Bartok the Magnificent". Hank can also be seen in the movies Great Expectations (1997) and the upcoming film Mystery Men (1999), as well as on the TV show Mad About You with new wife Helen Hunt.

Prince Ivan Romanov is the heir to the Russian throne -- which makes him a prime target for kidnapping by some evil doers! Played by Phillip Van Dyke, who can also be seen in The Modern Day Adventures of Tom Sawyer (1998).

Kelsey Grammer is returning to Fox Animation, but instead of reprising his role as the kindly Count Vladimir (whom he played in Anastasia), he's taking on the role of Zozi the theatrical Hamlet reading bear who sings the song "A Possible Hero". Kelsey is most notobly known for his work on the show Fraiser, which has earned him many Emmys to put on his shelf at home!

Catherine O' Hara plays Ludmilla, the evil servant to Prince Ivan who wants the Russian throne. Catherine herself has played a wide variety of parts, ranging from a frantic mother in Home Alone", (1990) to a crazed Southern woman in Home Fries, (1998).

Andrea Martin plays Baba Yaga, the witch who has quite a few requests for Bartok to do and sings the song "Someone's In My House". Interesting tidbit: Andrea was in the first Anastasia -- as Comrade Phelemingkof and "Old Woman"!

Jennifer Tilly joins this all-star cast as a friend of Bartok's after he rescues her. What exactly she is? No one's sure...but we do know that Jennifer can be watched in Music From Another Room and Bullets Over Broadway which gave her a Academy Award Nomination.

Often known as the "weird guy" on the hit show Third Rock From the Sun, actor French Stewart plays the demonic Oble who Bartok has to retrieve something from in order to appease Baba Yaga and free Ivan.

A regular on the Drew Carey show, Diedrich Bader portrays Ivan's loyal servant Vol. On a recent break from Drew, Diedrich was seen filming the upcoming movie Certain Guys (1999). He also played Jethro in the movie The Beverly Hillbillies (Date ?).
