"Going To Heaven To See If It Rains"

Here are numerous qoutes from zines and papers which talk about the wonderful, mysterious, and hard-to-find single by Close Lobsters titled "Going To Heaven To See If It Rains"
CLOSE LOBSTERS
"Going To Heaven To See If It Rains"
(Fire)
Swoon, gasp, shudder... a terrific single with a clever title from a Scottish five piece, and they're all boys! (How's that for a dig at your sexual insecurities, chauvinist pigs!) They strum guitars in a traditional way, but robustly, with lust and plenty of gusto.
   Look, you know how nowadays everybody goes on about 'perfect pop songs' all the bleedin' time, and you know how they're mostly talking a load of old tripe? Well, these Close Lobsters fellows have composes a perfect pop song. Almost.
SOUNDS
CLOSE LOBSTERS
"Going To Heaven To See If It Rains"
(3 Song 12")
Title cut is first-rate upbeat pop melodically recalling the Buzzcocks while sounding a bit more current (i.e. not punky) with prominent, skittish guitars and an effective vocal. The two other tunes are similar with that same kinetic guitar sound a pronounced emphasis on the drums and long-lined lyrics.

Close Lobsters, as in "Hey, the Close Lobsters!" almost live up to their reputation, livelier than the above with much sliding about between the verses BUT....

Origin=???
Thanks to the one and only Andrew Burnett, the closest Lobster himself, for the reviews..
