Crew members lounge on the main deck of the USS Talbot County (LST 1153) during a day of R & R at sea. Note the boat davit on the port side which is lowered after placing a "rescue boat" in the water "just in case".
Terry Newton enjoying some of the scenic wonders while on liberty in Spain. It is with regret that I change this note to read "Our former shipmate Terry Newton passed away on November 13, 2000."
