Is it fair to ask these people to take care of our dirty work?
How many times can you euthanize animals you have held and
comforted, praying someone will come in at that eleventh hour?
What about the ones that don't get the last peaceful moments in the
arms of a caring Shelter worker? The ones who are hunted down by
other animals or tortured by sick individuals?
We all have a responsibility to each and every living creature on this
earth. Even if you can't adopt a shelter animal or rescue a stray,
Put a sign in your window, donate a bag of food, just reach out in
some small way, make a difference.
Remember, Kittens and Puppies aren't cute, they are alive.
There is nothing we can do that would be too little.
Never buy from a Pet Shop, chances are they received their
animals from breeding farms. Adopt a Shelter Animal today.
For more sites dealing with Animal Protection, we have listed several
pages. Take time to go and visit them. Educate yourself and others
to the plight of uncared for animals. Everything you do, bad or good,
involved or uninvolved will be returned to you. There is an article
HERE that is some of the best reading I have ever done.
I think it would be worth your time to check it out.
