Very nice site! Very sorry about your loss of keeper. Have read some of your posts to DW and I had at one time sent for info on a HoH dobe. Very glad I didn't follow it up. I got my two dobes from the Ann Arbor area. We just lost a red dobe that had legs towards her C.D to seizures in January. To this day it still hurts when I think of her, the new puppy does help the healing but she will always have a piece of my heart. Take care!!!!!

Kim and Blair, My heart is breaking for you both, the loss of a beloved pet, no matter what the cause it is devistating. You did everything you could do for Keeper, I know a lot of people that would have just gotten rid of him or had him put to sleep imme iately. You didn't, you tried, and Keeper knows that. He loved you then and he still loves you even more now that you have released him from what must have been very confusing for him. Something made him hurt his "mom" and "dad", and I'm sure he did not now why. he will live forever in your memory as the beautiful boy that he was, the loving clown and companion. It really is too bad that HofH and K-tal,don't care about their pups once they get the check. Oh they like to hear the good stuff, but try and et an answer when something has gone wrong and they disapear. Both kennels did not start that way, they only became that way when the greedy heirs took over. There love for the breed comes in the form money. I know you are hurting now, and I feel the pain right along with you, but please don't let this keep you from getting another Dobie to share your life. Keeper started out the be the boy you always wanted, keep his memory alive and the good times you share by allowing another Dobe to help fill the void. I'm sure he would say it was ok. He'll be watching and helping, and remember, he still loves you.

Today, I guess it dawned on me that you had already sent Keeper to the Bridge, so I decided to visit the site again. Believe me, 've been sitting here crying for you and for Keeper. It upsets and angers me so much what you've been going through. My heart goes out to you and you and Keeper are very much in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sure that even a good breeder can produce a d g with sudden rage syndrome, but a good breeder would have been there for you, if not physically, at least mentally and emotionally. If Keeper had been my breeding, I would have been on the phone crying with you and trying in some way to make it easier f r you. I guess the big difference between a good breeder and a place like H of H is that a good breeder truly loves their puppies and to lose any of them in such a manner would be as devastating to them as it is to the puppy buyer. Please know that I an the rest of the list share your grief and pain. If there were some way to come through this computer and give you a hug, and a shoulder to cry on, I would. So very sorry to here about Keeper on DoberWorld. I also have a HoH Doberman. It is not the same since the PaPa died the kid is one arrogant punk. I sic'ed the BBB on him and boy did he whine. I'm satisfied with my Dobe only in his physical and intellectual state. After owning him 11mos. I still cannot put on a belt in his presence 'cause he runs like hell. First let me say great website!! I've had 'Dillinger' for 11yrs., got him when I was 16. He recently got sick, the vet said it was an infection from heart worms. He wants to treat the symptoms as they occur rather than give him the cure for the worms, sa ing that at his age the treatment could kill him, but won't the worms kill him?Dillinger is now much healthier and I think he could take the treatment.Should I see another vet? Anyone's advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for visiting Storm's page! I enjoyed seeing the pictures of your Dobermans and cat, and seeing that you also owned a dilute Doberman, a fawn. As you know, we show Storm, but he is first and foremost a beloved pet like any other Doberman. Showing is a fun hobby for us, and a way t keep in touch with other Doberman owners and breeders. You commented in Storm's guestbook that your dogs have only been champions in your heart. That is what really matters! I'd never love a dog any more or any less just because it was a show dog.
