Special Memories

This Page is Dedicated to the
Memory of
Maxine M. Wonderdog
Max
1977 - 1992

My tribute to you Max . . .

Maxine . . . what  can I say?  It has been years since you made your journey to the Rainbow Bridge, but I miss you still. You came to me quite unexpectedly, in the fall of 1977.  Rejected by your Mom at 4 days old, I became your Mom, and even though the Vet said you would never make it, make it you did.  The Vet even said you should be put to sleep, because you couldn't walk, but we knew better, didn't we?   You grew up to be so gorgeous - happy and healthy and you were my soulmate, my best friend, for nearly 15 years.  With you I learned the true meaning of commitment, and responsible pet ownership.  You will be in my heart forever babe.

Later you . . .  see ya at the Bridge.

Digger
DiGDuG
1991 - 1998

Digger ... my dear sweet Digger. When you came to me you were just the most pitiful little thing - abused and neglected, but despite it all you opened your heart to me, and trusted me when you had absolutely no reason to. Together we fought some courageous battles, and your strength and strong will to live was a true inspiration to me, giving me the strength to eventually let you go when you were no longer able to fight. You will be with me always, my little DiGDuG ... always.

Snowball
Snowball the Rat
1993 - 1996

Snowball . . . I have had many pet rats in my lifetime, but none that touched my heart quite like you did.
