Now that we have complete our CD I have started to work on my CDX. After I discovered that the dumbell wasn't such a bad thing to go after, I found it lots of fun to go over the jumps and retrieve it. My mom made them with some help,and the directions in the back of the AKC rule book on obedience.

The picture to the left is the high jump. My jumping height will be 28", which is the same as my height.

The picture on the right is the broad jump. My jumping over this will be 56", twice my height.

Here I am holding this silly dumbell. Mom wouldn't let me drop it until she got a couple of good pictures for you to see. Boy was i glad to get that outta my mouth.. Sheesh, it took forever!

In Aug we competed at the Nisqually KC and I scored a 191 1/2. Of all nine dogs entered that day I was the ONLY dog to qualify! *VBG* My mom went home with a great big smile on her face! Here we are with our first place ribbon and my first leg in Open A!

Here is my 2nd leg in Open A, with a score of 180 1/2. We were 4th that day. The judge wasnt available for the pic but mom wanted one anyways.

We made it! Our CDX, with a 3rd place and a score of 186.

Well maybe on to UD.. at least we will give it a try!
