It was sad to hear that our cat and dog got ran over, and all within a two week period. We were sitting down to watch the tele; when we recieve a phone call. It was our neighbor telling us that our dog, Pepper; got ran over and that they kept it in thei cozy barn. Father went over to pick up the dag, but he said that taking it to the vets wouldn't help at all. But the December weather seemed to stop the blood flow a little but not much. Fathers truck bed was all covered in blood and I wanted to pet o r dog, but father said that he might try to bite you since he is hurt. I told him that I didn't care. I wanted to pet him, it would be the last thing I could do for him, offer him some comfort. Sad to say he died two to three hours later. And we burie him and said a little prayer. But I know that some day I will see him soon. We had another pet named Casey, she was a black cat and she was a fiesty one. Sad to say that it was our car and not someone elses that cause the accident. Mother didn't mean to. It was just that our cat likes to lay on a pile of shingles beside t e garage door. Well she usually jumps down and walks with the car over in front of the steps to let her in and to feed. Well we thought that she was in a trance after she awoke. Well she jumped down and walked right in front of the car, and mother didn't see her because we were so used to her walking with the car. Well she heard a growl and then a pop. Mother got out to see what it was, and see was so surprised to see it was ou cat. She was still pondering on what she was gfoing to tell us kids when we got home. The sad part was is that it happened within the week of Christmas.
