OUR POSTER-ROTTIE
Cole was a special needs Rottweiler at
Cole was found as a skeleton in a someones back yard by animal control. He had been starved, and had been chained to his dog house for months...left to fend for himself with the occasional meal. His neck was raw from the choke chain collar. His body was covered with red, raw, crusty, oozing scabs. He was too weak to stand. Cole was taken to the vet who thought he was the most loveable Rottweiler she had ever met. Over the weekend, she administered constant IV nourishment, and then he was strong enough to send to the shelter. After a week at the shelter, Jan was called to rescue him.
Firelady is another rescued Rottie, that thanks to the many wonderful people who donated to help pay her vet bills, recovered completely and was adopted (by Me!!!). Firelady, who is now known as Lady, has her own web page if you would like to read her Rescue Story.
If you have a special needs Rottie you would like to see as our Poster-Rottie, please email me.
