First was Freddie, he would have been 18 year old Cockatiel on July 4th, 2003 yes he was a firecracker hatchling, he did talks some, he was 6 months old when we got him,in 1985 My in-laws bought him for us!
We had friends that had a zoo of animals compared to us and started looking in several pet stores and reading all we could, and he was a hand held baby, he had learned the woof~whistle first and did mock zippers and velcro and he mock me when I grab a tissue to sneeze, most of the time he knew I was going to sneezze before I did,
he said "Freddie get a drink of water", "What are you doing?", "water" when I am getting them clean water or just when I am getting a drink, "Mommy rub your head", but he woould't let me , he was bonded to hubby, and I cleaned the cage, feed and watered him, go figure.WE CHOICE TO PUT THEM BOTH TO SLEEP AT THE SAME TIME, BIG MISTAKE!! HE WENT TO BIRY HEAVEN JUNE 13,2003 WITH HIS BROTHER BENJI OUR FIRST SCHNAUZER, SEE HIM ON THE PAGE AFTER THE NEXT IS {KOKO}
