You couldn't ask for a better friend! Mickey was so much fun!
Mickey was affectionately referred to as "Kiki". She was adopted from the Humane Society of Austin & Travis County when she was 7 months old. Someone had adopted her and returned her when she turned out to be a handful. I told her she didn't have to worry. She was coming home with me and was going to STAY with me. She had one eye that continually ran. We were told it would always do that. I just wiped her eyes everyday, and she acted like she enjoyed it.
When most cats see a bird, they make a little "kiki-like" sound while doing what looks like fast chattering with their mouths. This was the ONLY cat I've ever had that would do this upon command! I kind of taught her that. Yes, you've probably guessed it...she was the Queen Bee.

This is Mickey & Me by the pool. It's the only way she got to go outside...being held by Mama Mia!
Here's Mickey checking out a new toy. Yeah, that lasted about a minute! She'd rather destroy the blinds or something inventive like that!
Update: It was so difficult getting good pictures of this beautiful cat as her big blue eyes would come out strange. However, I have a few more pictures of my little girl. However, my scanner is no longer working. If I can get them scanned, I will be adding them. Although they don't reflect her having blue eyes, they are beautiful and really illustrate the great personality this wonderful cat had. You will clearly see how she left such a hole in our lives.
