In the Fall of 1997 Orca had a freak accident
and is paralyzed from the waist down.

According to a West Coast Indian Legend,
Lone wolves go into the Ocean and become Killer Whales.
This is why he was named. He was given this name because he showed at a very early age every intention of thoroughly
dominating and becoming the Alpha Male of the pack

The Changing of ORCA
 It was a concern of mine when I got these pictures, that he was graying in color
I was told my Monty that this is an Inherited trait from his Mother..
and not to worry that he was not aging due to his injury.. just maturing
I think he is MOST regal looking and Beautiful!!!
