FREEDOM
Chains broken,
Links falling still at my feet,
Arms raised to Heaven.
Run free,
Sun on my face,
Breeze pushing me forward.
I am alive,
Lifeblood and Love flowing,
With every beat of my heart.

INVOLUNTARY
Intrusive and bold life
Breathe my breath
Sweet sliding vapor in my throat
Beat the rhythm of my heart
Feel it explode
Shattering, splintering sparks
Turn the wheels of my brain
Rolling and twisting in logic
Without the thought of art
Without imagination
Let me escape the confines
Of involuntary functions
I need, want, long to be free...

SENSATIONS
Dreams
Sensations in Sleep
Fears in waking hours
Forgotten or resolved
In my escape
Places to goand live
Forever in joy
Caress the back of the eye
And mind.
Such a beautiful way
To pass the time,
Why not stay
In the clouds forever?

1535
Like a tiny godess
In her makeshift heaven
Peering vision earthbound
Through the neverending layer
Of dark cloud
To glimpse the vast river veins
Of pure light
That outshine the starlit sky
I am in awe of mere mortals

SEARCH & RESCUE
Through the dying fields
Of flowers,
Do you hear me
Beckon you near?
Will this life fade,
Only to find us
Passing each other
With every step?
No path
Is a wasted journey
As long as you stop
To admire the view
Along the way.
However,
The road less travelled
Holds richer treasures
Treasures untouched by man.
SO, hike on!
Travel
To the far reaches
Of me,
Journey
And find the soul
Buried deep
Within the cave
Of my eyes.

Note: Inspired by various Poems by Robert Frost (1874-1963) AUTUMN
This ache falls
Unbidden from mine eyes
Reaching for a dream
Only steps ahead
Yet
I fall behind
My hands drop to my sides
Again, this ache
Falls relentlessly from mine eyes
