Richard F. Haines, Ph.D., retired NASA research scientist and former Chief of the Space Humans Factors Office at Ames Research Center, was Assistant Professor of Psychology at San Jose State University before moving to the Research Institute for Advanced Computer Science as Sr. Research Scientist where he conducted advanced R&D on multimedia telecommunications for NASA's International Space Station.
