Chinese Empress 10th Edition 1997 The last of the Collection, wears royal red and gold in an authentic Chinese costume inspired by the period of the last empress, 1862-1908. Barbie wears a striking mandarin-collar jacket with long sleeves that cover Barbie doll's fingertips a Chinese tradition. Adorning the front of the jacket are two dragons, a symbol for royalty. Beneath the jacket, Barbie wears a golden yellow dress. The final touch is a black flocked hat embellished with a large red tassel and golden charm.
